Rapid Setting Plug

Rapid Setting Plug is a rapid setting, plugging mortar supplied in powder form. It is a blend of activating chemicals, cement and high grade silica aggregates. It requires only the addition of water and hardens in a matter of seconds to seal leaks and even running water. Water flow can be stopped by mixing the Rapid Setting Plug to a malleable consistency and using as a plug.

Typical uses are:

• Water retaining structures, basements, lift wells, inspection pits, tunnels and underground structures.
• Joint filling,
• Concrete tunnel segments and pipes.
• Pointing and patching repairs prior to application of waterproof renders.

Rapid Setting Plug is easy to use – just add water. As its name suggests, it sets within 30-60 seconds. Care must be taken to avoid contact with the skin – always wear heavy duty gloves.

The product is non-toxic and so can be used to plug leaks in ponds and reservoirs.
